Window Shopping | The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

This is the best part.

Window shopping! But it’s not just window shopping, it’s window shopping at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Dogweed and Deathcap is a shopfront only, with windows that show some of their exotic plants. There’s a mandrake (I’m assuming) that moves and wails in one of the window.

Gladrags Wizardwear

They went into Gladrags Wizardwear to buy a present for Dobby, where they had fun selecting the most lurid socks they could find, including a pair patterned with flashing gold and silver stars, and another that screamed loudly when they became too smelly.

The line at Ollivanders, the wand shop, was looong. So I passed going in, but apparently they put on a bit of a show where one person gets chosen to have a wand choose you.

This store is next to Honeydukes near one of the entrances, and this is complete proof that I didn’t take enough photos!

The Three Broomsticks. Although not a shop, the stacks of pots and pans were adorable. The second photo is down an alley and see the kitchen window and hear the audio of dishes clanking and dishes being washed.

Aaaand Honeydukes! My favourite shop obviously. But you know what happened when I got here? My phone died. I got a few photos but they had windows with a gigantic chocolate frog, fairy floss and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans.

  1. GREAT job with the photos! Loved the different angles and close-ups. You have satiated my craving for pictures of the windows. I didn’t get any of Scrivenshafts and was looking for those in particular, but oh, you had so much more! Can’t believe they were from a phone camera, the quality is great.

    1. Thanks Lisa! Yeah I always love looking at photos and feeling like you’re actually walking around there and peering in, so I knew I wanted to do the same for Hogsmeade. Glad you found what you were looking for!
