Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh | Literary Fashion

Literary Fashion Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh via BrytonTaylor.com

I’ve always loved bossy little Rabbit from Winnie The Pooh. He loves to organise everything and frets if things aren’t going to plan. As a bunny from literature, he’s my inspiration for this week. For a bit of reference, I was looking at this following image of him when I was choosing the pieces for this set.

Creating Rabbit’s Look

The carrot ring is a nod to Rabbit’s love of his garden, since it’s his pride and joy. The brown leather satchel is inspired by Rabbit’s basket he uses to collect his prized veggies. Rabbit is a little yellowy in colour, which some people might be able to pull off, but I certainly don’t! So I went with a beige straight leg ‘no frills’ type of pant from Ralph Lauren¬†and teamed it with a simple white tshirt to match Rabbit’s belly. The green scarf from TopShop, matching the carrot tops, adds a splash of colour but also injects some texture.

This look was created in Polyvore.
