Honeydukes inspired fizzing whizzbee homemade bath bombs on white fluffy towels over a modern bathtub

Honeydukes inspired Fizzing Whizbee bath bomb tutorial

  • Author: Bryton Taylor
  • Yield: 4 1x

1 cup bicarb/baking soda

1 cup cornflour

1/2 cup Epsom salts

1/2 cup citric acid

2 tbsp coconut oil, melted

essential or food grade oils of your choice (fruity so they smell candy-like)

water in a spritzer bottle

food colouring in pink and yellow

ice cube globe silicone or plastic

Sift together the bicarb soda and cornflour into a large container.

Stir in the Epsom salts and citric acid.

Add your food colouring and food grade oils in with the melted coconut oil. Drop this mixture in bit by bit, stirring as you go until it’s all mixed together.

Use a spritzer bottle to dampen the mixture until you can clump it in your hand without it crumbling.

You don’t want too much water or oil at a time though, as it can cause the bath bombs to start fizzing.

Pack your mixture into silicone or plastic ice cube globes.

Press together and set aside to dry for 24 hours.

Wrap in pink tissue paper and place in a glass container. Attach the free downloadable Fizzing Whizzbee bath bomb label.
