Alice in Wonderland Themed Restaurants Around The World
Talk about fantasy dining. Disney, you might want to take a few tips for your restaurants from Tokyo. This is nuts. Like, crazy I-want-to-move-in nuts (the same way I feel about Disney theme parks). And these are just restaurants.
We’re starting with jaw dropping in Tokyo, but Alice in Wonderland has inspired the world over, as you see as you scroll through. All images are from the restaurants websites, and links are provided throughout.
Tokyo {and Osaka}
Tokyo has some of the neatest themed restaurants in the world. In Tokyo, there’s actually a whole set of Alice in Wonderland restaurants owned by Diamond Dining, including Alice in Labrinth in Ginza, Alice in Fantasy Book in Shinjuko, Alice of Magic World in Shinjukunishi, Alice in Old Castle in Ikebukuro and Alice in Dancing Land in Shibuya. Here, have a sneak peek… and excuse me as I go plan my trip to Tokyo….
Some of the food includes pizzas that look like Cheshire Cat tails, sushi that’s designed like the Caterpillar, Cheshire Cat spaghetti and pastas, and a Drink Me cold tomato soup.
Alice in Fantasy Book, Kabukicho, Shinjuku
Alice in An Old Castle, Minamiikebukuro, Toshima-ku
Alice in Magical Land, Nishi-Shinjuku
Alice in A Dancing Land, Shibuya, Tokyo
Singapore
The White Rabbit
The restaurant isn’t really themed but is worth a mention. There’s greenery archways with a ‘The Rabbit Hole’ sign, and is located in a restored old chapel. However The White Rabbit website is beautifully Alice in Wonderland themed and worth visiting.

Richmond Tea Room
I’m in love with this little tea room, located in Manchester, UK. With its graphic red and black diamond walls, and Eat Me and Drink Me signage, you don’t even need to search for suggestions of Alice in Wonderland. It is Wonderland!
I love your website! Especially your attempts at recreating imaginary food like butter beer and milk of the poppy. In response to this post, I’d like to suggest to you another Alice in Wonderland themed bar in Oxford, called ‘The Mad Hatter’. It serves cocktails in teacups on glass stems, and the drinks menus can be found within (Ladybird?) Alice in Wonderland book covers. One of their cocktails is afternoon tea themed (with cucumber etc.). ‘The Mad Hatter’ has the quirkiest cocktails in the city!
