Every once and a while, I have this terrifying dream. I wake to find it is Halloween, and I’m not prepared.
No costumes.
No decorations.
No candy.
And trick or treaters are making their way up the driveway.
Out of all my nightmares, this is my worst fear, that somehow I’ll miss Halloween. In reality anyone who knows me would say I’d have to be in a coma for that to happen. Note to friends and family: If that day ever comes? Someone better use me as a prop.
Come October I throw myself into a frenzy of prop making, which in turn means I neglect my blog.
So, hi! It’s November.
Fortunately the last Twilight movie is coming out in exactly 10 days 15 hours, 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Not that anyone’s counting. Which means I get to make creepy food and drink for just a little while longer…
The Twilight Saga; Breaking Dawn Part 2; Bat Bite Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 shots white rum
- 2 shots cranberry juice
- 1 shot creme de framboise liqueur
- 1/2 shot of lime juice
- ice
Instructions
- Shake all ingredients together with ice and strain into a glass.
- Slice a strawberry so the top is off and it’s cut in half.
- Skewer the strawberry slice and a bat cutout onto a toothpick and rest across the glass.
